People like you make it hard to be nice.
Today at work a man came in and claimed how embarrassed he was that his car ran out of gas outside and that he left his wallet at home and he asked if he could borrow 5 dollars to go get gas then go get his wallet and then he would return. He seemed genuine and he shook my hand and being the nice sucker that i am… I lent him the 5 bucks… And of course…. he didn’t return. Yeah it is only 5 bucks, but really what the hell. I don’t understand how anyone could do that to another human being. I guess karma will get him someday… but thank you sir. thank you for kicking me when I am already down.
